This is my buddy Shannon, and together we call ourselves Shannon² :-) (We actually have a photo of us together, somewhere.)
We went walking around downtown one day and I got a few updated photos of him for his family. Here are a few of my favorites. :-)

I really love photographing people with tattoos, especially ones with lots of color- makes for a very interesting photo and lots of eye candy. Also makes you wonder about the stories behind the tattoos, and to me, photos are all about the stories.

This one is my favorite. (above)

Hi guys! Remember me? I know, I know… I’m H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. at this photo-blogging bit but here I am again! Yay!

I’m anxious to add this entry because the clients this time were some awesome friends of ours. This was my very first maternity shoot that was all mine and I was nervous and excited about it at the same time! I’m glad it went well! Lol. As far as the editing, these tones are new for me, too. When I did the shoot I knew exactly how I wanted the photos to look (inspired by the lovely Sarah Wolfe!) I have loved these tones for a long time but never really put them to use- I’m glad I did!  I really like them!

I laughed quite a bit during this shoot! :-)

This is my very favorite photo from the shoot (although the first one is right up there, too!) I saw this downed tree a few weeks before this shoot and immediately this shot came to mind!

Joy & Bri

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

I have been so behind on editing and blogging! I’ve been excited about finally posting this set though! My good friend Chris O’Dell and I went shooting together a few weeks ago and had a great time. First we shot the cutest little girl, Joy, who had THE cutest curls ever! She was an amazing little model, too. She sat perfectly still, smiled a LOT and did exactly what we asked her to do. Unfortunately it was a pretty chilly day and we didn’t have long to work with her, but we both definitely got some adorable pictures!

After shooting Joy we shot Bri, who was also really fun to work with. She was up for pretty much anything, including sitting in the mucky ground in her mom’s old wedding dress!

These first few images are part of a series in which I wanted to look like old, tattered images. :-)

The building we were next to was abandoned and very cool looking, so I went with more of a grungy feel to the last of the wedding dress shots. :-)
